I get this completely and feel so bad for you, the easiest way to get around this especially with a stranger who’s not going to think anything of it as they are busy would be to drop the ‘a’ if you’re struggling with it and just say ‘count statement please’ it actually sounds the same when there is background noise. Or if better with ‘e’ pronounce as ‘eccount statement’. Listening to music and singing beforehand can relax your jaw too. I hope this helps. That person will not remember you. Be kind to yourself.
