First off well done for actually using the drive thru and having to speak rather than letting your stutter take a hold and you avoid the situation 🎉 Fuck that guy, you and your husband had every right to be pissed. But I'm glad he didn't hit the guy, there's no way a guy like that is worth your husband getting charged. I've gotten use to that initial snigger when you first stutter when talking to a person. The ones where they let it out and then realise the situation and the fact that you have a stutter, some even apologise for it and that's awesome. But down right mocking is not ok and your husband was right to pull him up in it 👍
