Surprisingly i don't have bad memories about "first day presentations". I dreaded more about "first time reading situations" in class. Sure some of them went not so well but nothing disastrous. One time tho, during the last middle school year, two guys came to do a short lesson in my class about how to choose the best high school in the future. They made each one of us stand up, tell our names, what we wanted to do in the future and which high school we intended to go to. I was the last one and i was dying waiting for my turn. When my turn finally came i stood up and i said "i am.....", and then pure void. i tried to repeat "i am", but my name just couldn't come out; i'm not sure how much time it took for me to say it but it felt like 10 minutes. I remember classmates laughing, and one even said: " is he having a stroke or something?". Best part is that after the name part all came out rather normally. That was one of the worst moments ever for sure, if i had a gun near me i would have ended it right there. Still have PTSD about it.
