I also voiced my concern to one of the speakers there about the stuttering community and SLPs are leaning almost extensively towards acceptance nowadays and not fluency improvements. I am still a big advocate of acceptance, but feel that if acceptance doesn't work to improve the stutterers' life, then where do they go from there?
