I have the same problem. Sometimes saying it with a glotal stop infront (The "sound" used in British english in replacement of t's. You just have to pull your tongue back to block airflow for a moment) or consciously knowing where to pronounce vowels (look IPA vowel pronounciation chart, It's in the shape of the mouth and check the IPA for Norwegian vowels in the Norwegian phonology page on wikipedia). Cant say its too much of a game changer but it is better then nothing
