Update: It went pretty well, actually. Her family is really nice and understanding. Her niece and nephew pointed out my stutter, but they’re really little so it was kind of cute. The only person who didn’t seem to really like me was her oldest sister, but they’re really close so she might have just been over protective. Everything went well. I didn’t have to talk all that much and I was glad for it. We played a few games, and then had lunch with a bunch of her family. I stuttered more than she’s ever seen me stutter, but kept asking if I was ok and rubbing my leg and arm, relaxing stuff. I got through it ok. After we went back to my place, she got a text from her mother saying they approved. Big confidence booster right there. Thanks everyone for the advice.
