My boyfriend stutters, and when I met him, this is pretty much word-for-word exactly what I said/felt. I got lucky in that he was just happy I was into him and didn't react negatively. He's never minded me liking it, or asking questions about it or anything. It's nine years later now and he still stutters, but it's been years since it's bothered him in the slightest, which is great. He just lives his life and it's not an issue for him. For this reason it's not really something we talk about often any more, because why comment on a non-issue... But internally, I have to be honest, I still find it heart-meltingly, adorably cute. He knows this. I guess it's just one of the many incredibly beautiful things about the way his body is and works, like his big flat feet (big paws!) or his perfect eyes. Sorry, this is getting long.
