I’m 26, have only ever met one other person who I would consider as having a stutter, an old boss of mine at a grocery store. Unfortunately, he was a major asshole. He was so rude that I suspect he maybe had some other thing going too. But yeah the 1 in 100 number honestly seems too high, there is no way that many people stutter. Throughout all primary school and college I never met a single stutterer and no one else in my family stutters either.
