Second behavior or Block — which one do you choose?

Second behavior or Block — which one do you choose? Hi everyone, today I came up with an idea—or maybe you can call it a theory. I think what we call the “second behavior” actually replaces the block in speech. In other words, it’s either you choose the second behavior, or you face the block. Now you might ask, how did I come to this thought? Let me explain: I’ve stuttered since I was a kid, but back then it was mostly repetitions with a lot of facial and hand movements. Later, those movements became less noticeable, and the repetitions also decreased a little. But when those movements completely disappeared , that’s when I started having blocks in my speech. I’ve also noticed that some people managed to get rid of blocks by using second behaviors, like facial and hand movements, or even pressing their fingers. In my opinion, that’s still better than speech block—and I think many of you might agree.
