I'm currently doing my Master thesis and did the same during one of my presentations with my supervisors. I wrote the entire script, recorded it in my phone (since I dont stutter much when I'm alone) and spoke over the recording during my presentation. Since I have a moderate to severe stutter I stuttered at some parts, but I would say that I could convey what I wanted and I was happy. This was a zoom meeting but do you think they would allow me to use earbuds in my final oral defence? Maybe I need to discuss it with my supervisor.
