Are there any teachers/tutors here who stutter? How did you get into the teaching profession?

Are there any teachers/tutors here who stutter? How did you get into the teaching profession? I was looking for a part time job and I had applied for part time teaching/tutoring. I recently got a call from a place and the person asked me to describe something about myself and I ended up stuttering. I thought the stuttering had reduced but it doesn't seem like it has. I just feel really useless...
