The best thing for my stutter is exposure therapy. I make myself go through drive throughs periodically or force myself to talk to people face to face rather then taking easier options just so I know I can and it limits the anxiety those things cause me. If you avoid something you want to be able to do because it makes you anxious, you turn it into a fear then into a phobia. I know it's not easy but the best way to be is to just be OK with stuttering and know that as soon that conversation is done it doesn't matter that you stuttered. You got your message across.
