I'm not sure how to classify mine in terms of severity. I block on a handful of words, some of which are really annoying. I also sometimes repeat syllables of words. It's a combo of both, really. I really haven't noticed any pattern in regards to if I do it more with strangers, since I still do both a fair amount when talking to family and friends.
