Get your education. Whatever else happens to you, your education is something for you. You can lose everything and still have your education. The worst thing you can do is stop moving forward. You don't want to be coddled or reassured. I get it. So what have you done to look into what services and accommodations are available to you? Talk to universities. Reach out to the county services in your area. I work in the local school district and we service students with severe and mild disabilities. We partner with the local college and the transition program helps people with disabilities find work. Your "There are things I can't do" belief will hold you back more than your speech impediment will. I recommend you listen to what u/ShutupPussy said in their comment as well.
