For example, there are strategies to not pay attention to fear or panic, such strategies are for example your ribcage technique where we distract ourselves from fear by focusing on breathing or visualizing the diaphragm. While other strategies like in mindfulness, we pay attention (or observe) fear and we should not reduce fear in this strategy - in order to build tolerance and reduce the meaning (of triggers). **In my opinion**: all strategies could lead to outgrowing stuttering, the more paths we try, the more 'reinforcing fluency pathways' becomes a habit
