The army is a crucible, it will make you do things you never thought possible. The adrenalin, the novelty, the excitement, all that. I have a terrible stutter at times, but like others have mentioned, when the time comes, you will get through it, it will make you stronger. I am currently instructing other soldiers during part of the year. You simply practice lots in private, then in front of others, and the constant exposure will make it easier. Don't live your life in regret. Do what you always dreamed of doing. If you can endure a life of stutter, there aren't many things left in the world that you can't handle.
