Ok you need to do more research because that is NOT what it is. And slowing down doesn’t work for everyone as it doesn’t work for me. It is a NEUROLOGICAL disorder. The science definition is involuntary disruptions in speech, meaning we know what we wanna say we just can’t say them as fast as others. I’m a stutterer and I don’t talk fast yet I still stutter badly. If this was really the issue then either almost all stuttering cases would be “cured” or almost every kid would have one, higher then the 5%.
