Hi, everybody. I'm writing and posting here because I haven't figured out how to initiate new posts. I WAS fully fluent after 72 yeses as a stutterer but in the past 7-8 months my stuttering has returned and I'm truly in a bad place. I recently read a post directed to me asking me if I was lying about recovering from stuttering. Absolutely NOT. I'm planning to get an appointment with Dr. Gerald Maguire in California as soon as he can clear a time for me. He is a recognized world expert in stuttering and uses pharmaceuticals to treat stuttering. I am fortunate that he has agreed to treat me. I'll keep you all posted about the treatment and any success. I want you all to know that I have been totally honest about recovering from stuttering and now returning to dysfluency. I have NO idea what might have triggered it again. My life has remained stable and happy yet I'm stuttering again. It's very distressing to me. I'll keep you all posted. Sue Dr. Maguire Gerald A.
