You are generally correct. I’ve found that people of quality genuinely respect and value you even with a speech impediment. Anyone else doesn't merit my interest. Choose your friends carefully. There are wonderful accepting people out there. Disregard anyone else. As far as romantic relationships, there are people who will value and adore you, stutter, and all. Don't settle for less than the best relationship. You are more than your fluency. Be the whole great package.
