I have been unemployed for about six months now ( web developer, I have education and 10+ years experience ). I'm not sure how many jobs I have applied for exactly but more then 50. Lot's of competition but it's been a rough road.. For some companies I know I have been rejected just because of my stuttering but because of discrimination laws here in Sweden they just say "we have moved on with other candidates" which I can get.. if only they didn't re-publish the same job-ad a week later. That has happened on multiple occasions. Other companies just stopped replying to me ( e-mail, LinkedIn ), just ghosted me. A few companies have been honest and we have talked about my stuttering but not many.. For me and probably for other also you have to find the right company that sees you and not the stuttering as a problem.
