In my experience, my stutter has actually filtered out some potential dates. Most that are accepting proved to be kind and thoughtful people. The others that have reacted poorly proved to be unkind. If this is a potential significant other, she will either have to be accepting of all of you or not. That is her problem, not yours. I know it is easier said than done. A lot of times I would come out and address my stutter as someone else comment, she likely can already tell, but it lifted a weight off my shoulders knowing it was out there.
