Tension Headaches Just wanted to see if there’s any doctors here who might be able to give some insight about this. I’m a person who stutters, (24 M) mild-moderate and very occasionally severe when under stress. I mainly have blocks in my speech. Ok now on to the main issue, I went to my GP after struggling with quite severe daily migraines (I assumed they were) - after explaining my symptoms my doctor is confident they are tension headaches and not migraines. She related it to eyesight and focusing on screens (laptop, phone etc.), she is aware of my stutter as she has been my doctor since I was a child - and she observed my face distort as I was blocking on a word, she said this could potentially relate to my tension headaches due to the involuntary tensing of muscles in my jaw/neck at times when I am blocking on words. Just really interesting as I wasn’t expecting her to make that connection and I didn’t think of that myself. Has anyone had similar experiences? I’ve heard of Botox being used as a possible treatment for chronic tension headaches. Would this help reduce the tension I experience in my speech? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
