We believe what we see. Nobody in my family or extended family stutters, except me (that we know of). We know of 4-5 generations. In my case, therefore, it’s not genetic. Maybe a mental inclination that can have a symptom of stuttering is genetic. Like perfectionism or certain insecurities, etc
