we are often the smartest people because we need a large vocabulary and a quick mind so we can substitute the troubling word for a different word of the dame meaning. it's mental gymnastics and tiring. and i agree I also struggle with sounding articulate, especially when trying to explain something complicated. somehow I qualified as an attorney (well the bar is not an oral exam) amd trying to speak to clients... they must wonder who the heck this guy is who stumbles and mumbles.
