But no one said people only consider that one thing when choosing whether to date someone, just that it's a consideration, subconscious or not. Which the OP is one example of anyway. Obviously we all have met or hope to meet people who look past our stutter to our other qualities, but for some people yeah it's an automatic disqualifier. I wouldn't want to date a girl who felt like that anyway.
