Has anyone used Stamurai? Feedback? Hey guys, Stuttered since I was a child. Had therapy when I was teenager for two different periods, during a couple months each. I can't exactly remember, it was a long time now, but it didn't had long-term effects (though I reckon that I wasn't as committed to it as if I did therapy today; I just went to the sessions and that was it, no training at home, perhaps I could had got better results). Since then, I've coped with it, I have highs and lows, now I feel I'm in a worse phase. A few days ago, I thought: "it has passed so much time since I did therapy, perhaps there's already something for Android/iOS that can do something similar, in these modern times". I found a link with the best apps, where they recommend DAF apps in one hand (searched a bit, everyone says it only lasts for short-term; I did tried it on therapy with the software that we could download, and it had some effect, but no way I could afford the device, so, I didn't tried for that much long), and Stamurai on the other hand. This app seems very interesting because of: 1) sessions to learn their techniques; 2) the reading section where we can record us talking and then listen to it (I reckon it feels a bit... scary, I don't like talking to a app I don't know much, but in desperate times... and it did had many good reviews on the store); 3) an exercise where we can test how he produce the sounds, and try to adjust for it for the words that we have more difficult with. Now, the reason of this topic is because I now saw that their full lessons and features and under a paid subscription. As so, I would like to ask if anyone here has tried, and if so, how was the experience; if it is indeed worthy of the subscription for a month/year. Thanks!
