I wasn’t able to talk to my grandpa I couldn’t really communicate with my grandpa in the last few years since his hearing got worse. I didn’t really talk to him apart from saying hello and bye. I used to talk with him a lot before and he told me stories, but my stutter made us drift apart. About two weeks ago my grandma died (I couldn’t communicate with her for other reasons) and I was thinking; what if I could never talk to my grandpa before he dies. I told myself no matter how hard it’s going to be, I want to talk to him next time I see him. No matter how long it’s going to take. Well yesterday I found out he had a heart attack and today I found out he is going to die… I guess the lesson is, don‘t hesitate to talk with people important to you because of your stutter. I learned it the bitter way.
