If you have breathing issues, it’s likely we have permanent brain damage to those areas if you’re not a child. (Stuttering And Sleep: Some Speculation by Sandra Merlo) I know for a fact my stutter was caused my this because having my tonsils removed as an adult has drastically helped it, but the muscle memory and lack of control still persists to an extent which is most likely a neurological issue. The second I can, once I have kids, I’m ripping out their tonsils.
