It's not weird at all. Right now there are people all over the world complaining that their life sucks because they are too short, too tall, too fat, too skinny, not attractive, have a skin condition, too poor, don't have a car, has the wrong accent, etc etc etc. And each one of these people thinks their life is over because of whatever thing they are upset about. And the funny thing is, if they solve that particular issue they immediately find another issue to blame for their imperfect life. The point is: blaming something or someone else for your problems is a type of deflection. This deflection gives you permission to give up and wallow in self pity. And we all know self pity solves nothing. Instead of self pity, it's better to own your problems and accept that it's up to you to adapt and make it work. This is something you'll encounter over and over in your life for many other obstacles. Years after leaving high school I went to a reunion. There I learned that many of my former classmates had crushes on me in those years. But I was too self absorbed and feeling sorry for myself to even notice at the time. I wonder what good things and good people are currently around you that you are ignoring while you wallow in self pity?
