For me, no. When i speak at a family gathering i speak incredibly fluent. Idk why but its just how it goes. maybe because i talk to them alot and we (in the middle east) like familys are way more connected than other regions and countrys. I literally have to go at family gatherings 2 sometimes 3 times a week so yeah.
