You should really read the book. Mainly you use the crutches and ensure you are a good "speech cop". They require that you practice them well. Other things is exposing yourself increasingly more to pressure situations (10 and 10% more feeling pressure). Noone is perfect and I know many that are regarded super fluent have struggled with words/stuttered, so an important aspect of this is not expecting yourself to be 100% perfect because noone is that. Being a speech cop is about not forcing words you sense that you will stutter (simply said). You can train to be good at this. Since I opened the book for the first time I have done many things that I never would have thought of or believed.
