Xanax for stuttering

Xanax for stuttering Ive had a stutter my whole life. In this past yesr it has gotten really bad, and now there's a lot of added anxiety just making it worse as well. Doing some reasearch I found reports of Xanax working for stuttering and anxiety? I was wondering if this would be worthwhile. I've been to speech therapy and the techniques they've taught me don't seem to work no matter how hard I try. I've got a whole bunch of presentations, plus a speech exam coming up and I would prefer to stutter as least as possible through them. Does Xanax work?
