They chose a person over me because i stutter Let me tell you a short story. 2 years ago i was a student at a college. I was studying at the English department. It was my last year at the college. My goal was to be a teacher assistant at the same college . For four years I got the highest grades and i was the first at my class. When they announced the nomination for the college teaching assistant of the English department i was not elected! I went to the head of the department and asked him myself why I wasn’t elected... he replied “ i know this is strange to you but i need you to listen, you were not elected because you have a stutter, i am very sorry i know this may break your heart but the college will choose the most capable and the most articulate students” after that i just felt nothing!! It’s strange, didn’t feel any anger or sadness after what he just said. So , when I left home i sat down and thought about it I realized he was 100% right! The other person who got the job is more suitable than me. I have a bad stutter. My stutter may harm the students and affect their education. I don’t blame the department for not electing me. I wasted 4 years of my life just to watch my stutter laugh at me at the end of the tunnel. Now I just sleep, eat, and play video games 24/7
