Yes, I’m currently in a masters program as well. I completely understand where you’re coming from; it is exhausting. The best piece of advice I can give is please don’t let your stutter change what you want to say while you’re in your program. I can’t speak on behalf of everyone here, but self-disclosing before you speak or give a presentation to new people can really help take some anxiety away and make you more relaxed while you speak. In my own experience, people were often receptive to this and even commended me for being willing to disclose it before I spoke. Also, in my own experience, having a piece of gum in my mouth helps a lot. Might be a little unprofessional, but they probably won’t be able to see it over Zoom as long as you’re not chewing loudly lol. I found it keeps my mouth moist and just helps overall. Anyway, best of luck to you! Congrats on starting your masters!
