Man, this is eerily similar to my situation. Same age, stuttered/mostly blocked since age 5. I’m fairly mild blocker, but when I do block it’s strong. I am mild because of years/decades of analysis of words, calculated choices, and lifestyle/job decisions. I’ve noticed in my 30’s that my vocabulary is lacking significantly. This leads to lower self esteem and lower self confidence. However, my written word is not lacking as my job entails writing extensive legal language. I just can’t fuckin say it lol I’ve also noticed a burdensome lack of social skills and lack of empathy and general numbness towards people. I believe all of that is sourced simply out of the fact that I can’t/won’t speak in many situations. When I know that I won’t talk and I know I can’t add anything to a situation, why waste time being involved. My life is alone. I am physically and mentally healthy. Socially, I am a dead person. I’m about to buy a house in the woods, work from home, and chop wood/build fires every night. Lol, life is strange
