Ditto. Also if I’m standing, I shift my weight back and forth from one foot to the other (which makes me seem really intense sometimes, unfortunately). If I’m sitting I tap my fingers on the table / chair. Same effect. I usually block / stammer when I get excited or nervous and my brain rushes ahead, so the somatic rhythm can help get me back on track.
