I love your sentence “PWS overestimate value of fluency to point of perfectionism”, which can be debilitating. I find it very affirming to listen to fluent people have repetitions that easily transition to next sound. Also, noticing that no one actually is bothered by them. My idea of three types of dusfluency - 1. Repetitions/prolongations that easily transition to next sound, no emotions associated w them 2. Repetitions/prolongations have emotional associations, harder to get to next sound 3. Repetitions/prolongations have mostly become blocks due to emotional associations, lots of secondary behaviors/avoiding
