Same as everyone else... Develop and pursue interests that involve other people. Expand and work your social network. Making it known that you're looking for someone. Showing up to things. Facing your anxiety around your speech. While there are jerks in the world, most people will care about your speech far less than you do, especially if you show that you won't let it rule you.
