Any "don't"s for writing a stuttering character ?

Any "don't"s for writing a stuttering character ? Hi, I'm currently working on a character with a stutter, but I'm wondering if there are maybe cliches or misinformation that annoys or offends people with speech disabilities ? It's mostly a for-myself story but I'd still feel bad about writing something offensive... thanks in advance !
