Worked in newspapers for 6-7 years and coming up on a year as editor in chief of a magazine. Great career change. Tons of talking in my field. Lots of interviews. It was the gauntlet I needed to get over my fear of stuttering. I still stutter just as much but I’ve been burned so many times it doesn’t bother me anymore. That is freedom.
