Anyone with a moderate to severe stutter that is outgoing? One of the advice I see from watching TedEX videos from stutterers is to not care about what people think. Obviously working on it with therapy or whatever tool you want to use is good but their (most of them anyways) perspective was confronting the fear is the biggest thing. Obviously it makes sense in theory and from personal experience; stuttering in front of strangers even though it was embarrassing, life still kept going. Yet, it's still difficult to actually not care even if you know it's the right thing to do. So my question is if anyone here with a noticeable stutter embraces it and initiates conversations with people without fear.
