I have definitely lost out on jobs after a phone interview. I present myself better if I’m in person. But getting past that phone interview is a b*tch. I gotta say though. For every door that stuttering has kept locked, it’s opened up another. It’s ultimately bc of my speech I ended up in the field I’m in and owning my own business. Nobody would hire me for almost a year after I was laid off. So I got tired of putting my worth/life in other people’s hands.
