I rarely stutter with casual conversation. I’ve picked up some phrases that I always say that make me not stutter, like, “oh really?” or “damn that’s crazy”. I also have some phrases that allow me to think. Like, I constantly get tongue tied. So if I just say the first coherent thought, but then my wording gets updated to match my comprehension, I’ll first say, “or rather…” then continue on with my updated wording.
