Although it's true that stuttering is neurophysiological condition, you can still practice and do exercises to strengthen your speech musculature and improve overall vocal function. Because stutterers usually avoid talking as much as possible due to avoidance behaviours related to anxiety around stuttering, it's possible our speech muscles are not in good condition / atrophied.
