I know what you mean, but focusing on yourself does not mean avoiding people, and much less avoiding your feelings. Women have an ick on stuttering like others have an ick on brown haired men, men with glasses, men who dislike this or that… assuming no man/woman will accept you romantically is not realistic at all. Many of us can prove this wrong any time. OP asked this question because he’s nervous, something completely understandable, he doesn’t have to give up when he’s nearly there. Better to live for a week with a broken heart than to regret not having asked for the rest of your life
