Lmaooooo thank you /u/emmanola for the translation, I had no idea what that meant. Honestly it all comes down to the situation. Personally I've never been made fun of to an extent that offended me, the most offensive thing to me is when people I just meet say something like "what'd you forget your name?" And I know that's not the same. In those situations I usually just laugh it off or explain it, but I've kind of stopped explaining it because people tend to get super apologetic and it just gets weird lol or people are like "OH YEAH NO THATS TOTALLY COOL, NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT" you know hahaha so I usually just roll with it. Or I go "no, it's.." and just keep trying. Sometimes they ask about it at that point and I get to explain it in a much more comfortable manor, which is really cool. . ANYWAY sorry for the rant, like I said, i've never been ripped on ("ripped on" being American slang for "made fun of" :PPPP) in a way by friends/acquaintances in a way that made me do anything but laugh and feel more comfortable. But that's also just me personally. I tend to react rather non-combatively to most situations. There definitely could be situations where saying something back is called-for. If I were to get made fun of enough I'd probably say something back like "listen dude there's a lot of shit I could rip on you for" or try to come up with something clever lol. But in general a valid rule with anything in life is to never invalidate your feelings! If you, after some consideration, feel it's appropriate to react a certain way in a situation, then you should do so :)
