I'll be blunt. I have my ups and downs. Stuttering has created a shadow of myself. I avoid situations where I know I will stutter. I have also avoided jobs that involved too much phone or talking. I have changed careers too often, hoping to find that career that would best suit my stutter. I also understand the feeling of missing out on numerous things in life, all because of insecurities of stuttering. To stay strong, you always have to think of what you do have. It could always be worse. Heck, you never know as well, there could be a cure for stutter in our lifetime, Lastly, I find you have to stop overthinking it. Stop overthinking about the presentation. Stop overthinking how nervous you will get. Stop overthinking on what words you will have a block on. Just stop and try and do it.
