Mild stutter becoming more noticeable I first noticed my stuttering when I was about 11 or 12. It has always been mild; it disappears sometimes, but it gets bad at other times. Now I'm in high school, and my stutter seems to be getting more noticeable. The stutter often shows up when I'm talking in class, in public, or to a friend. I've also started to pause a lot between my words (something I didn't do before). I'm wondering what could cause my normally mild stutter to suddenly get worse like this. I have a history of anxiety and depression, if that's relevant at all.
