I used to go to this bagel truck once or twice a week and when the dude asked my name for the order I’d stutter so badly. Sometimes I’d just pause for an awkwardly long moment to try and collect myself and the dude would be like “Do you not know your own name?”. Eventually he caught on and would say my name so I wouldn’t have to, but the whole ordeal was so embarrassing I don’t even get breakfast there anymore. Sucks cuz their bagels are really good.
