Gotta go through it to grow through it. I just made 28 last month and I'm still socially awkward and avoid conversation, but I'm working on it. My fiance has been a big confidence boost as she is constantly trying to get me to have conversations about things I ENJOY talking about, and she will sit patiently and wait for me to finish. She has never mentioned my stutter unless I bring it up first. Her friends are the same way.
